I bought mine new in Enfield, CT. The only issues I've had were a blown plug and I replaced the stock fog lights. Oh yeah, and I had some paint blow off 2 weeks after I got it.
You blew a plug, what mods did you have and how many miles at the time? Was it covered under warr', or did you have to fix it, and how did you fix it? I alway's worry about shooting a plug, i guess the best thing to do is keep a eye on them. I haven't had any paint issues yet on mine, actually i thought mine looks pretty good. I'm at 24,000 miles right now, and i guess i'll be parking it next month for the winter.

Andre e-mailed me the link to check for this recall and mine needs it too,
until us euro guys find out how we can get our recall done ,is there a way to disconnect the unit so there is no risk of having a fire ?
cheers

Yes that's it. It's too bad Ford can't just send you what you need to fix it so you can perform the fix yourself. I wonder if anyone on here from a Ford dealer could hook you up with what you need and if they could send in paperwork saying the recall was performed?

Thanks Chris
if anyone would be able to hook up us euro blokes that would be really cool
but if not I can live without the cruise control for now until we can come up with another soloution ,at least with mine now disconnected I dont have to worry about it going up in flames
Cheers

can't do that most likely, but I do not see why someone could not ship the kit so they can install it themselves. its just a new style switch and a jumper wire. on other models. it's just a fused jumper harness which is not available yet.
