I have an 01 Cobra vert, it's N/A. I'm 99% sure I have a spun rod bearing. I have $4200.00 to fix my snake, what would you do?
For $4200? No way.Swap in another longblock

Update: Longblock w/ Kellog Crank / Probe Pistons / Manley Rods / 04 Cobra heads...$4100.00 installed.

I too have just spun a bearing on my stock 01 coupe. Never took a DOHC engine down to the block, so it's a little out of my wheelhouse. Nor do I have the space to spread everything out while I try to rebuild it for a while.
With that being said, what ballpark would I be looking at to have someone rebuild it and keep it stock? It's only 2 years away from being a collector and would like to keep matching numbers and not swap out the engine. I am in the Milwaukee, WI area.
Any help is appreciated.
if the crank checks out ok Id probably just freshen up the block, throw in some terminator rods with ARP hardware, a decent piston, have the heads freshened up (seals and seats) and send it.
as mentioned numbers matching is no longer a thing
probe pistons are fineScratch the Probe pistons. They don't have a good rep in the mod world. And I'd just keep your current heads if it'll save you a few bucks.
