So I just bought a 2013 mustang gt with 87k miles. The rear suspension makes a lot of noise going over bumps. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Could simply getting new springs rid me of this annoyance?
Springs? .......... No (unless there's a rubber isolator)
Bushings? ........ Yes
It's actually kinda sad that Ford still has bushing issues. When I had my service station back in the 70's, many Fords were absolutely notorious for bushing squeaks. I mean, ungodly loud squeaks. In the front upper a-arms especially, which required cutting fenderwells with torch to install/access zerk fittings, go figure. Dumbest engineering I ever saw.
