Stalling, will PCM reflash help?

I have a QUD2 code and the dealership wants to reflash the PCM to the new YDH0 code due to rough idle and stalling. Has anybody had this done? And did it help with the rough idle and stalling? Any noticeable difference in HP and Torque?

I have a YDHO and had it reflashed this weekend, stalled on me this morning. Car was cold, a/c was on and had just stopped @ a stop sign.

YDH0. Flashed ECU two weeks ago. No stalls. Intermittent drops to 500 and below remain. A DiabloChip calibrated to idle 100 RPMs higher should help. I'll tell you tommorrow =>)

I thought you said it stalled after they flashed it? So did it stall that one time after the re-flash and it's fine now?

No. See <http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=23394&highlight=attention>. The car did not stall after flashing. Has not stalled since before the flash. But the idle remained, and still remains iffy.

I had a rough idle and a stall problem so they re-flashed the PCM about a week ago. The idle is great now, smooth at 700RPM. But it stalled again two days ago. It was cold of course and the car just doesn't know when to bring the idle back up when I come to a stop sign (when cold only). So I dought the re-flash will help that.

So what do you guys think about the DiabloChip band-aid resolution?

Not sure what YDH0 is supposed to do but my second run YDH0 Cobra has stalled 6 times since Oct 3rd delivery. Has stalled when cold and warm. Nothing too major at this point but I don't think the YDH0 flash will help if mine is an example. Isn't there a YDH1 out now?? Would have sworn I saw a reference to that code somewhere.
