Static-X Frontman Wayne Static Dead at Age 48

But Wayne Static w/ Static X will always be remembered for helping to start the Nu-metal movement of the late 90s to mid 2000s. Along with Godsmack, Korn, and Slipknot. Without his inspiration, metal/hard rock might not be what it is today. I got Wisconsin Death Trip and Shadow Zone on repeat, in remembrance!

Very sad. Listening to Bled for Days right now.

I met the band back in like 1999. I had a shirt with all their autographs on it but my wife accidentally gave it to her dad when she was cleaning out my closet. He wore it to work and trashed it. I seen it like a year ago and almost died when I recognized it. I also met Sully at the concert... had him sign my VIP pass, hopefully she didn't give that away too!!!
