Steeda Tri-ax Question

I just installed the tri-ax on my 04 and the grogging noise (that sounds like its coming from the tranns.) is getting pretty loud, almost like I'm grinding gears. I knew there would be some "gear whine" or "vibrations" coming from the transmission cause I don't have the factory rubber noise isolators anymore, but it sounds worse than it should...

1. How long does the sound generally take to go away?
2. Is it normal to be pretty loud?

That is noraml for the triax. Mine whines all the time. The shifting sure does outway the noise though. Peace!

The noise is normal, CobraBobs gaskets helped mine.
Yes, the noise is normal unfortunately. A set of my gaskets will make it a lot quieter.

Check the stop bolts. If they are too close, you will get a vibration echo through the handle. Even when they are adjusted correctly, if you rest your hand on the shifter, the noise will increase. CobraBob's gaskets quieted mine down a bit. MGW shifter is even quieter with the same gasket.
