So today I get in the cobra and my stereo wont power on?!?! i have an after market deck. Is there a fuse I should check anyone know where its at?

There are 2 that possible fuses that could be affecting it. One is located underneath the dash and you will just have to find the right one, but the other is on the back of the headunit. All aftermarket headunits have a saftey fuse to prevent the car fuse to blow, so I would check that one first.
it's a 20 amp fuse which is yellow...check the manual
