They should fit but they will be bulging over the side of the wheel a bit. You might want to upgrade to a 9" wheel if you're going with a 275 in anything other than a Nitto. A Nitto 275/40/17 is a better fit on a 17x8" since they seem to run on the narrow side compared to 275s from the other brands.
