Stiff shifting

Does anyone else have problems shifting when rpms are high when I am at full throttle it's like I hit a brick wall going from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd. I put an adjustable cable quadrant and firewall adjuster on it. It's like the clutch isn't disengaging all the wall it's only got 30k on it

Let's start with how is the clutch adjusted?

I have adjusted to where pretty much all the play is out of the pedal just has a little so the throw out bearing isn't always on the clutch

as an experiment try tightening the clutch cable (turn firewall adjuster out, away from firewall) ..... just see how it behaves
