Straight line is just as funny. The GT2RS runs high 9's @140+mph while having WAY more downforceOn a road course/track?
I don't think so.

Yeah, that’s about all I took from the small portion I scrolled through. This forum never disappoints.
There are a few dudes on here with their head planted firmly in their ass.
Ya because I didn’t say that though, ya’ll a bunch of school girls bitchn about which Porsche log to chomp on next.
#MURICA. Don’t care about real life results, this is internet country and that gt500 goin be real Cletus like on them gt2’s. Ain’t goin need to gap an RS cause the RS driver will be stuck in pit lane getting a blow job from you fanboys. Easy winz
I will ask driveway demons.No,............auto ZR1 was completely stock the first time they ran the 2 cars.
Redeye had about 875 at the crank and the ZR1, obviously, has 755 at the crank. You're thinking of the second time that they did a video meet-up.
God, I love me some 2019 ZR1 cars!
Lol the art of back peddaling. I've seen you mention it a number of times now because one of the mags compared it to the 2RS. Well, another mag also compared the CFTP to a miata so you reeaaally have to take mag comments with a grain of salt and realize not every comment equates to times. Half these guys who were in Vegas had a blast, felt the power mated with the DCT but probably didn't realize they were slower than a pro driver in a spec miata. High horsepower is quick to fool people on track.
I still expect the CFTP to lay down properly impressive laps but it wont be in the realm of the ACR or 2RS. Likely wont beat the GT3RS either
You are the guy who took the time to read it so that’s says what...
Bottom line, a gt500 will come spotting distance to a demon with just drag radials, and although far removed from lapping with a gt2rs, it’s well ahead of a demon trying to do the same, and msrp wise it’s similar priced to a demon.
If the ford is 5 seconds a lap off a gt2rs, the demon is 15 seconds behind. The demon might click a 9.80-9.90 on a tire, the gt500 is gonna be solid 10.0-10.25 on a tire. The demon is ~$125-150k still with markups and $90k Msrpm with a straight shooting dealer. Both pricing styles are still in the market.
Gt500’s are msrp lower than a demon by 10k, but even if we say the track pack one, at $92k, it’s a hell of a lot closer to a gt2rs then as well as a demon contender just with a tire swaps.
That’s impressive regardless anyone’s carbrand affections.
Maybe, and then the Redeye does full bolt ons, runs 9.50’s, and then you do full bolt ons and your DCT goes bye bye, and now you have to spend another $10-15k+ to handle the power, we all know Mustangs are amazing, buy what you like and don’t be such a fan boy... just saying

Cobra Jets are actually 130kFan boy?
If I wanted to run on the drag strip every weekend, I wouldn't spend $100k on GT500.
I'd spend $100k on a Cobra Jet and walk the Mopars.
Cobra Jets are actually 130k
Then on top of that,
You need a truck and trailer to tote it around. Now you are up to around 160k.
Then, lets not forget, you will need a place to put it. So 40kish for an extra garage. (Since the truck you bought is now taking up the extra space in your driveway)
So really, its about 180-200kish all in for a cobra jet.
And you still dont have a fast street car. You are left with a car with NO vin, and one you can’t do anything with except race, which to me (personal opinion) is kinda pointless.
I still love seeing the cobra jets at the track. Just not my cup of tea to own.
Lol @ cobra jet. Pointless vehicle unless ...
Do you even 6 figure?

Last I checked the copo camaro and mopar challenger drag pack factory stock cars were more than a match for the CJ cars..
I'm a Ford dealer. I can own a Cobra Jet today for $105k.
I have a truck and a trailer; multiple in fact.
I have over 20,000 square foot of storage space, I don't need a place to put it.
It is a fast street car. Slap a dealer tag on the back, and I'll drive it all over town.
Your point?
What is your point in comparing a NHRA factory stock track only CJ to street driven mopars?
