Stripped plug fix..

Any one used this kit from O'Reilly?

Im asking for the new owner of my 02 GT. I sold it July 2010 and had already done 2 Timeserts. Recently a 3rd plug has popped out but she cant afford the $400 for the actual Timesert kit to do it. Would the above kit work?

Ive already advised her to just get the Timesert kit, and either keep it for later use, if need be, or sell it and get most of her money back.

this just happened to my bullitt the other day. this kit is meant for a triton head, the plug is allot longer so i was not sure about it. i went to napa and got the heli-coil save-a-thread kit. it came with the threader, and spark plug sleeves.

I have that on my counter for my Cobra but went with the Heli-Coil instead. If you want to try it I'll send it to you cheaper then they sell it.
