I was kind of shocked that Ford offered this new still. Though, I'd imagine that it's precariously close to End Of Life.I guess they figure they have their market locked up. The internet and dealers like @13COBRA are nipping around the edges more and more. Warranty work is all that keeps some dealerships open.
At this point I would imagine all the factory 2V manifolds that are going to fail have been replaced or are sitting with the rest of the car in a pick-n-pull.
Just glad my 2v V10 is an all aluminum design.
Of course , the unicorn 1999 5.4 2V intake was all aluminum, unsure if it's retrofit able to plastic versions.
