Man, even when peeps have problems with their SVTFs, they still love 'em! Shows how great they are, I guess.

i have a 04 svtf
mile mark 3500. i put a jrsc. couple months later i made my own bbk kit. after a while, i was having a problem with the belt slipping. i sold that for what i have now.

i have a custom turbo manifold, gt30r, tial wastegate and bov, diablo tune, apixe tpye r boost controller, stg3 spec clutch and 7 lb flywheel, blow through maf, precision intercooler, getting a intake manifold and more tunning time.

problems

had a little eletrical, clutch blew up, tuning problems, sun roof flipper thing broke. i think thats about it.

Sweet mods man!!!! Sounds nice.. If you have any pics., we would love to see them. And dont forget about Road-Kill-Cafe,,, we want to hear those KILL stories... :rockon:

'04 SVTF here. about 18250 miles. Only problem is a steering wheel vibration from 65mph on up. It's really bad at 70mph and lessens at 85+. Got worse after I rotated my tires. Did the basic tests--it's likely not the drivetrain.

Considering somehow I got 03 rims, cheap-azz Mastercraft tires (got a deal on the car though) when bought, I have the feeling either bad tires (they flat spot easily) or fromreading posts, a bend rim.

Otherwise, love the car, looks good with the stang (and same style SVT rims too).

Sounds cool, except for your tire problem. I know its tough alot of times when it comes to money, I would of kept the tires also... Good tires make all the differance, but expensive as HELL!!!!!

-Rear wheel bearing hum (fixed under warrantee)

Knock on wood, but thats IT!
