SID297, if you move this thread to SD, I am sure you would have more posts and a bunch of people calling each other out. Small price to pay, but you would have more posts and more pages...

Love the pics and thanks for posting. It's like we were there with you.

Page 5. We have enough pics for one more page. Let's get to page six and close this one out.

I'm not sold on the huger oval exhaust outlets on this GT350.

2013_NAIAS_1_238.jpg

This Grabber Blue spoiler delete is very clean looking though.

2013_NAIAS_1_239.jpg

The wide body kit looks really clean.

2013_NAIAS_1_240.jpg

Electric cars everywhere.

2013_NAIAS_1_241.jpg

The new 8-speed ZF tranny that will be found in many upcoming Dodges and Jeeps.

2013_NAIAS_2_001.jpg

The front of the new Chevy truck. Looks like the mid-90s models to me. I like it.

2013_NAIAS_2_002.jpg

This is the super-structure of new C7 Corvette.

2013_NAIAS_2_004.jpg

GM incorporates aluminum castings in with the aluminum frame rails.

2013_NAIAS_2_003.jpg

We caught the Ford Atlas concept driving through the show on its way to the Ford display.

2013_NAIAS_2_005.jpg

It was definitely getting some looks as it cruised through.

2013_NAIAS_2_006.jpg

The roof line of the new 4-door Jeep Wrangler reminds me of a Mercedes G-Wagon.

2013_NAIAS_2_007.jpg

This Rubicon was outfitted with parts from Mopar.

2013_NAIAS_2_008.jpg

I have to admit that this Power Wagon was looking pretty sweet.

2013_NAIAS_2_009.jpg

This is the Chrysler Turbine concept. Unfortunately, there wasn't really info on it.

2013_NAIAS_2_010.jpg

Jaguar had this AWD "frame" on display.

2013_NAIAS_2_013.jpg

Many don't know this, but Jag doesn't spot weld their body panels. The actually rivet them together.

2013_NAIAS_2_011.jpg

Jag also incorporates these massive cast pieces into their unibodies.

2013_NAIAS_2_012.jpg

It's crazy how much attention this thing was getting in the Ford booth.

2013_NAIAS_2_014.jpg

The Ford C-Max seems to be really popular in Detroit. We saw lots of them on the road.

2013_NAIAS_2_015.jpg

Looks like a place for SVTP members to hang out.

2013_NAIAS_2_016.jpg

The new Lincoln MKC concept looks great. Much better than the current model.

2013_NAIAS_2_017.jpg

I'm not a huge fan of the other current Lincolns though.

2013_NAIAS_2_018.jpg

I'm glad the entire Lincoln brand is getting a makeover.

2013_NAIAS_2_019.jpg

I do like the hood styling accents on this model though.

2013_NAIAS_2_020.jpg

This SHO is awesome.

2013_NAIAS_2_021.jpg

The Lincoln booth was very artsy, clean, and ultra modern.

2013_NAIAS_2_022.jpg

Fiesta ST in Molten Orange.

2013_NAIAS_2_023.jpg

The only other US Ford we have seen this color on is the SVT Raptor.

2013_NAIAS_2_024.jpg

The Fiesta ST will come equipped with a 1.6L EcoBoost.

2013_NAIAS_2_025.jpg

Word is the handling will be superb.

2013_NAIAS_2_026.jpg

It weighs several hundred pounds less than the Focus ST.

2013_NAIAS_2_027.jpg

I really wish this color was available on more Fords, specifically the GT500 and Focus ST.

2013_NAIAS_2_028.jpg

I think it's safe to call the Raptor front end "bold".

2013_NAIAS_2_029.jpg

I love how "FORD" is spelled out on the grille. It reminds me of the 70's F-Series trucks.

2013_NAIAS_2_030.jpg

In the last Batman man movie he lost all of his money. I suppose that is why the Batmobile is now a Kia.

2013_NAIAS_2_031.jpg

GM only has one ZL1 on display.

2013_NAIAS_2_032.jpg

The grille reminds me of the new Chevy truck.

2013_NAIAS_2_033.jpg

Jaguar had this AWD "frame" on display.

2013_NAIAS_2_013.jpg

This Lexus looks like a blow fish. A little too rounded for my tastes.

2013_NAIAS_2_034.jpg

it just looks puffy.

2013_NAIAS_2_035.jpg

Now this is a Lexus that I like.

2013_NAIAS_2_036.jpg

i actually say a boat with a Viper engine in it the other day. I'm betting it would be fun.

2013_NAIAS_2_037.jpg

We saw this Viper race car earlier in the year at PRI.

2013_NAIAS_2_038.jpg

This is the best looking Dart I've seen.

2013_NAIAS_2_039.jpg

Can't say I'm a fan of this 4-door Fiat. We saw a camo'd mule version of this car running around Detroit in our week there.

2013_NAIAS_2_040.jpg

The Scion FR-S is now the darling of the import tuner market.

Isn't that what they always say about underpowered sub-compact cars?

I wouldn't call it underpowered. While it's not going to blow anyone away with its power production, the 1.6 Ecoboost does make decent power. It does have some nice up side potential as well.

Those oval tail pipes look SO much better than the quads.

The 8 speed is badass. I was reading about it in the new Bentley. It can drop from 8th directly to 4th when you smash the gas.
