High inflation is causing instability in the stock market, and the high interest rates are suppressing the bond markets. The end result of Bidenomics.

Wednesday was CPI. Today was PPI. Consumer sentiment numbers come out later.

Shouldn't be as bad a tumble as Wednesday though.

Yep.

Snip from Fed release. This is brutal. Wouldn’t totally write off a rate hike at this point but May cuts should be off the table at a minimum.

I'm still laughing at the "experts" who late last year were predicting six rate cuts this year. Yeah. Right. Sure.

It wasn’t “experts” … it was our 50 TRILLION dollar bond market.

Now our 50 TRILLION dollar bond market is saying ok… we can hold 4% plus if growth stays accelerated.

Experts were just pointing out what the market demanded at the time.

And those "experts" were proven to be wrong, much like many forecasters are.

I don’t know if it can save the market in the long run but I think it’ll sink it with a miss or even a retreat in earnings growth.

If it falls apart tomorrow, we’ll probably see a broad decline in tech.

I don’t pay much attention to how much stuff costs on a routine basis. But I did notice how much my typical grocery trip went up.

Well I’m doing some purchase requests to outfit some nugs with gear. A lot of it is a standard load out so we go back to the packet from the year before, early 23’. I’m seeing price increases of 25% in some cases. One of these was just raised in the last month.

NVDA is gonna swing the market one way or the other. I will be looking at some option straddles tomorrow since either direction move will probably be significant.

saw one place that had an implied move of +/-11%...said that amount was bigger than all but the top 57 companies in S&P
