I'm having an issue with my T56 getting stuck in gear while slowly rolling to a stop. Once the car stops, I have to either physically pop it out or hold the clutch in till the car gets rolling again. Does anybody have an idea what this could be? Tranny or Clutch issue? It seems the slower the car is going, the more difficult it is to pull it out of gear.

McLeod RST Twin Disk with a fiore clutch quadrant and the stock cable. I don't drive the car much but it's been going on for at least the last several months and I just got use to putting the car in neutral early before I came to a stop. Within the past couple weeks though is when it really started to get worse as I've had a harder time in popping it out of gear. I drove it again tonight and it actually does happen in the other gears…it's just normally I don't roll to a stop in them besides 1 and 2. The problem also happens on start up sometimes when the car is parked on an incline or decline. My garage is level and I never seem to have the problem when I start up in there.

Thanks

I just dealt with this issue..

It was hard to change gears with clutch..but easy to shift if not using clutch..

got to point reverse I had to shut off engine put in reverse and start there..

after new clutch and cable still had issue..

I than had oiled the clutch cable and all issues were gone..

pedal fell to floor and shifted like new..

I removed cable. .sprayed wd40 in to it till it ran out other end..

im assuming from reading the cable will hang up

worth a try
