still working on figuring out which parts to toss back in this thing..

it will be going blow threw with a 05up maf, and detuning it..it made 717 at the wheels on 18psi, with a slipping clutch on a dyno jet....

he blew it up at the top of 3rd on a hard pull....:dw:

well he is selling the car..once its back up and running...

What did he expect when he was making almost 200 horsepower/liter on a FACTORY LONGBLOCK....

car has been a rough life...20k on the clock, and all of it has been racing

starting with a spray heaton..then a ported sprayed heaton..then whipple sprayed..

now hellion'd..but not sprayed..but its still there..lol

I don't think the turbo is responsible for this. I think lots of PD boost plus nitrous might have been giving the ghost. Then 18psi on pump and 16* of timing is what caused the block to go. I have the same kit and I never go above 14psi on pump, just asking for trouble. I also only run 14* timing as a safety blanket. Our turbo cars dont need a lot of timing to make good power. besides, you never know if old Leroy accidentally filled the 91 tank underground at the gas station with 87 or not.

I run 13lbs with 13* timing on pump 94 with my new Hellion 76 setup.
I have 9.0:1 compression now but I also have mass paranoia, lol.
No point pushing it on the street imo, it doesn't hook anyways.

That sucks dude. Looks kinda like my engine that I took apart earlier this week. Those are Ferrea valves and Manley pistons too.
