I need to replace the inner belt the one that is on the a/c compressor. I know I have to take out the pully bridge but do I have to take off the crank pulley? Can't I just slip the belt over it and remove it?

It’s gonna make you pucker. It puts a pretty good bend on my snap on breaker bar.
I did the jack and breaker bar method when I did my inner belt. My son had to step on the brakes for me since the car was in the air. When it popped loose he jumped in the car. I had a good laugh.
