Ok - For those of you wanting to see what the camera can do - I can tell you it is awesome - still getting used to all the manual controls and menus - I had to resize these for bucket - they were 7mb each. Comments welcome!

Oh yes....... these were in auto mode simply because I did not have alot of time. The menus and submenus are far more in depth than my D50.

Very nice pictures. I am going to be upgrading from my D70 to a D90. Have you tried out the movie mode yet?

I have to say, buy your self some good quality filters. The D 90 is nice. I went with a Sony A 300 with the flip screen on the live view.

Here is the one I bought.

Now I am ready to updat to the 24 mega pixle model.

I like the pics you took. Here is my Cobra and my L that I took with my sony.

Before you know it. You'll have a fortune spent in things for your camera. I already have about 1,000 in goodies for my Sony.

Keep taking pictures, Its fun ...

Later, Jason...

I think we need to find out how the D90 captures the essence of the naked female body. Please send me a PM when this is done.

But seriously, I was not expecting the pictures to be great, and they are better than I expected. A camera of this level at the consumer/prosumer level will take months to really get it taking pictures of its true capabilities.

Nice photos... What lens do you have? I've been thinking about getting another camera and it maybe the D90. I have a D80 right now and love it. But I'm the type of person that has to have the new stuff too... LOL

Its the kit lens 18-108 with the vibration reduction. Nikon did well with this kit lens - so many kit lenses are junk with canon and nikon.

Yeah, I just bought the body with the D80. I have plenty of lens that I don't need to buy the kit. However I do need to get a good 18-?mm lens with a 2.8 fstop.
