i want to clarify one last thing before this gets closed...if it does. I have no issue with you Ian and never have, i merely pointed something out that irked me. Only one other thread has Ian moderated in a way i didnt like. but most of the issue in the thread were other posters not Ian.
I have alot of respect for the info you provide and hope one day my truck can carve corners as good as yours.

I realize we kinda beat a dead horse here its done now I think. but the info is out and those who it really bugged got it off their chest. lets hope threads like this are few and far between more so non existant.

A moderator can do no good, I'm dammed if I do and dammed if I don't, it is probably the most thankless job on the internet there is, I simply do my best to interpet and apply the rules the best I can, I have closed threads that bash non-sv's for cripes sake, and have spent many an hour on the phone with pissed off customers and the vendors, and will still be bitched at the next day for not doing something to someones liking......

This thread is certainly past it's expiration date......but again, that is for SVTP's mods and admins to decide, and I will promise you this, if they leave it open people will complain, and if they lock it just as many other people wil complian, it is a vicious cycle.

You guys all know how laid back I am most of the time, and I'll tell you this much...... if you'd come over to my site when I was still a mod and pulled some of the stuff I've seen you guys do, I would've banned you too, friend or not. There's rules to be enforced, and you don't play favorites. If you do, you're not doing your job, which is completely thankless btw, hence why I stepped down.....

The simple solution I see is to quit crying to the choir about the issue. You've all had your chance to state your arguments, and in all truthfullness, it's not doing anyone any further good. I'd suggest some of you tag this thread and then move on. If you have further issue, take it up with JJ. It's not like you don't know where or how to get ahold of him. Some of you won't do that though, because you're pissed off right now, but when it comes time to shit or get off the pot, you're going to get off the pot.

While this is true..im a curious person by nature my mind is always running.
Id like to know before hand what im getting into. But this thread is NOT the way to go about "informing" people of whats what. This thread in some cases seriously makes "us" look just like the other site. We all know who an dwho not to buy from, the noobs that come aboard ask questions and every person here is quick to answer then, this includes who to buy and not to buy from.
As with everything based on natural selection those vendors that screw people do not last long...msx, lightning brake, rpm etc. As Okie said this section of the forum is pretty damned tight knit, this thread is not something I would have expected to be posted...let alone allowed to stay open.
