Ice storms are brutal, for sure. In many respects worse than snow. Folks in that area some definitely monitor the weather.

Confidence is increasing that a major winter storm is really gonna pound from TX to the NE USA. That is a pretty impressive freezing precip band with a heavy snow band on top. Heavy rain across a lot of the SE USA.

Expecting a bunch of snow and maybe some ice mixed in for Wednesday.

Forecasts are at 11+ now. Should make for plenty of OT if I want it.

I was down in Daytona for the Rolex, it was pretty damn cold. Before we left, I checked the weather and the high was like 54 or something, which I assumed I would be good with my light jacket.

I froze my ass off. We ended up running to walmart and buying thermal underwear and shit. Breeze + humidity + fairly cold was a pretty annoying combination lol.

The good news is that you don't have as much inventory to move! :D The bad news is that you don't have as much inventory to move!

Haha no joke.

I'll be here pushing snow. Luckily, I have an audiobook to listen to, and the cab of the skidsteer has heat haha

Our world was supposed to end yesterday after 8-10” from sunrise Wednesday to Thursday AM.

We might have 6-7”. End of times prophecy is calling for ~6 more inches throughout the day with “blizzard-like” conditions.

So far I have been very uninpressed. Perhaps today will more eventful.

Ain't it the truth that the weather people get so dramatic, and usually stick to the max possible. Here, they actually pre-empt regular programming on the TV and we (well, THEY) get to watch snow/weather discussions non-stop.

Tomorrow we're supposed to get some freezing rain and icing. We'll see if it end up being nearly as bad as they're forecasting.

'Marathon' storm to bring wintry precipitation back to Northeast

Cross-country winter storm to unleash hazardous conditions
A major storm will bring a combination of heavy snow, ice and thunderstorms across more than 2,000 miles and 19 states, causing major travel issues and numerous power outages through the end of the week. The stage is set for a sprawling area of heavy snow and dangerous ice from a cross-country storm that could produce horrendous travel conditions across the interior Northeast from Thursday into Friday, AccuWeather meteorologists say.

Lol right? All filler, no thriller.

1-3" forecast for tomorrow. We better all go run out and buy milk, bread, and water.
