It is a remarkable situation we are all in. We continue to allow this world we have created to proceed even after we realize the situation we have helped to create.

How does one become truly free? What does it mean to be truly free? Do we forsake country and community to become free?

No one is a "slave", unless they choose to be one. This can be be allowing events to control them, or, by making poor life decisions, then doing nothing to correct them.

One thing I definitely agree with is that fact that our entitlement minded society will not tolerate losing those entitlements in the future. Welfare entitlement (and dependency on our government) will only continue to grow. :dw:
