some amazing, and disturbing pics in those links. Just makes you think how well we have it here in the U.S.A. compared to other countries on the planet.

Rapid deployment ...WTF

I so hate the media. God forbid anyone help this guy.

Unfortunately those guys are paid to get pictures. I can guarantee they did not enjoy doing that either but in order to get the story out someone needs to take these shots. And you may find that none of the people involved are medically trained or even first aid qualified - in which case anything they do could make the situation a hell of a lot worse!

Personally, I don't think i ever would or could do that job but I can't really hold them as subhuman either.

Anyone know the story behind this? The guy looks to be dead. I'm trying to figure out why his pants are pulled down, and why they all seem to be taking photographs of pulled-down pants and his underwear. :??:

Photographers take pictures of an injured man during clashes believed to be linked to recent anti-foreigner violence in Reiger Park informal settlement in South Africa on May 20, 2008. South African police fired rubber bullets at hundreds of shantytown residents on Tuesday in a crackdown on violence against foreigners which ended up killing over 60 people and injuring hundreds more.
