Thinking about this race lover set up would it work to extract heat from under hood?

I did not think about that. I don't see why not.
I dont think it will be as effective as removing the hood but then again you may not build up as much heat going down the track.

Definitely a good option for the track. Those are some big (open) louvers. Looks like they're larger than any others I've seen (for the Terminator).
Yeah that’s exactly where my kennebell sits in theory it may help cool it a bit while moving under speed???
