I've watched the Cosmos and I have read many books by carl sagan and the Jacque valle. In the Cosmos he still doesn't provide a logical answer to how a universe can begin without anything. Anyone who watches that movie won't get what their looking for. I like the movie though.

Too have an explosion, without anything to cause it, is plain and simply supernatural. To be perfectly honest, science will never be capable to prove evolution without a little help from God in that department :)

God could simultaneously drop a 500 lb Bible on every major city on this earth and you still have billions of people saying that doesn't prove anything. Its pretty evident that a lot of people who dismiss the Bible are so in love with themselves and are so egotistical and so reject the morality and responsibility called upon by a loving G-D, that it makes it very difficult for them to admit that they don't have it figured out. Even as a young boy, the 1st natural question was who created this, who created me.

Well fellas, its been fun. These are always interesting threads. This topic should be on everyone's mind until the day they die because you don't know when you're going to get called home. There's a popular saying in Israel, "everyone has a bullet aimed at their back." And you never know what day yours is going to hit the bullseye.

Just remember, it takes courage to live the life that God demands in the Bible. And its a tremendous struggle for the Christian day to day. And the Christian isn't that much different from the nonbeliever. But you should always ask this question before you are ready to give up on the idea that the Creator of this world has shown himself to us. If there is a loving God, wouldn't He demand our worship, praise and obedience? Wouldn't he want to know us and be a guide through this world as a loving father would? Wouldn't a loving God give us a choice to follow or reject him?

OK...well then who made God or the supernatural beings that created us?? Where does it start and end. If the universe couldn't have been made by an explosion just happening out of the blue....then how can a supernatural being exist just out of the blue?? :rollseyes

Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. You have just realized the paradox of faith in the church. It's how God seperates between the ones that truly will follow him and the ones that won't. Being a christian takes a great amount of faith in the unseen, which is why arguing with a christian about his/her faith is like arguing with a brick wall.

Read down to the very bottom, you don't want to miss this!

VERY INTERESTING -

1. The garden of Eden was in Iraq.

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!

3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.

5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!

6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq !

7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.

8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.

9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.

10. Amos cried out in Iraq!

11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.

12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!

13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)

14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.

15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.

17. The wise men were from Iraq.

18. Peter preached in Iraq.

19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon, which was a city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land ofShinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and ! Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq.

And also... This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?! God Bless you all Amen !
Very Interesting, thanks for the find

Cool stuff. The Bible truly is amazing beyond comprehension. Unfortunately many are unwilling to actualy accept it's truth.

Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. (Matthew 7:13)

Many take the easier way, sad to say.

I would rather live my life through Christ and in the end if I am wrong then I am wrong, but to those who choose not to believe, what if Christ is real and you choose to deny Him. :uh oh:
