This is freaky, interesting and scary all in one!

Read down to the very bottom, you don't want to miss this!

VERY INTERESTING -

1. The garden of Eden was in Iraq.

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!

3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.

5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!

6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq !

7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.

8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.

9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.

10. Amos cried out in Iraq!

11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.

12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!

13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)

14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.

15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.

17. The wise men were from Iraq.

18. Peter preached in Iraq.

19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon, which was a city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land ofShinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and ! Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq.

And also... This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?! God Bless you all Amen !

Babylon is the 2nd most mentioned city in the entire Bible. Its mentioned over 300 times. Jerusalem is 1st being mentioned 811 times. Babylon is where the 1st rebellion against G-D took place on earth. The city of Babylon is presently being rebuilt in Iraq and according to the Bible, it will be the AntiChrist's headquarters during the 7 year Tribulation. G-D says in the Bible that it will be completely destroyed in the same fashion as Sodom & Gommorah was just before the end of the 7 year Tribulation. Babylon is where witchcraft and all these new repackaged demonic religions now called "New Age" came from. I guess you can call Babylon the epicenter of evil on the physical earth.

Amazingly enough, America isn't referenced anywhere in the Bible with clear and convincing scripture that is certain. The greatest superpower the world has ever known isn't mentioned during the 7 Year Tribulation. There is no doubt this nation is going into the ash heap of history, but the rapture of the church has everything to do with that. The Blessed Hope fellas ;-)

Cool stuff. The Bible truly is amazing beyond comprehension. Unfortunately many are unwilling to actualy accept it's truth.

Well it's beyond comprehension because there has been no proof to support many of its claims. I'm going to go on a whim and assume that your folks are religious and introduced the bible to you quite early, which explains why you accept it as truth.

People who live in the real world accept the bible as a semi-historical account combined with a fictional story that teaches the importance of sacrifice, tolerance, compassion, and (mostly) good family values. People who live in a dream world accept it, its miracles, and the claim that its content was dictated by God as fact which, to be quite frank with you, is ****ing insane.

I'll tell you this brother. I used too sound like many of the skeptics on these boards when I was between 17-22. And I was like that because of laziness and I simply used the same old rediculous arguments to question the historicity of the Bible. The more I study, the more I realize what a mess I was. It took some hard lessons to surrender to the Lord. But I'm glad I did. Its amazing whats hidden in the Old Testament and the New Testament. The accuracy and the connection of one scripture to the next. I marvel at the construction and the Yeshua codes revealed behind the Hebrew. I can't even fathom how amazing G-D is in person :burnout:

You have a favorite book or certain scriptures?

I was an atheist/agnostic until I was 24. Do you really think that all of us believers were indoctrinated and brainwashed since youth? Hey, whatever makes you feel superior in intelligence, I guess.

BTW, your sig pic doesn't work.

And as to the first poster, the Garden of Eden has not been located, not in Iraq or anywhere else. There are theories as to its locale, but that's it.

What is it with and this incredible urge to pollute every thread that speaks of G-D and the Bible. I'm stepping out of my faith walk for a second here. I know you can't help being a miserable prick, but why do you have to come and be obscene, foul and attack people just because you don't like the message??? You do this on every thread that speaks of G-D or the Bible and you go out of your way to ignite people to the point that nothing nice can be directed your way. It never fails with you. You are without question the biggest :loser: on SVTP. You have no clue about the Bible's historical accuracy. Your best athiest apologists have been destroyed by the best of the Christian apologists, but what would you know?

You really should learn to back off pal because there's no need to poke your finger into everyone's chest because you don't like what they're saying.

It started months back on a bodybuilding forum and some people never let it go. Surely you seen the pic with the owl, funny, but overdone. Makes the people who are still trying to catch on with something that old look a bit retarded.

Not every thread. I will put it where I see fit. What I see fit and what you see fit may not be the same, but I do not care. I do it for my entertainment, not anyone elses.

But this is a truly amazing set of circumstances, if not more than that (not meaning to offend, this is why I hate replying to religion based threads).
