A friend of mine sent me a video of his kiddo jamming. He is only 12. At first I was thinking...ah man...not another watch my kid play this instrument topic!

This is cool, but I feel bad for child prodigy's. They generally focus on one thing and that one thing only for years. End up with the education level of a 3rd grader not even knowing what German is...

Pretty good for a 12 year old that hasn't been playing long.

I support any young person that has a big dream and great work ethic. One of the problems with this country is lazy ass young kids that have a sense of entitlement. This includes most of the people in their 20's that have worked for me and I have met.

Seems every generation is getting lazier and dumber. So, supporting someone that has the nuts to go for it...:rockon:

That kid smokes. People here have no idea how hard that is. I've been playing for almost 10 years, and that style destroys me. Takes so much speed and coordination.

The easiest and laziest way to learn is by learning tabs.

Ultimate-guitar has a lot of decent beginner lessons that are easy to understand.
