The fit is good. I had to add a few washers behind the latch so that it sits low enough to catch the lever. The finish is real good. No pits that I could find.

There was a small (less than a quarter) size chip in the front passenger edge, right near the fender. My painter said it was no big deal.

Next I get to cut up the perfectly good hood and I stall aerocatch pins.

So I believe I have decided on Option 4. I did a photoshop of what it might look like. It's not the best photoshop in the world but it gives the idea. I was worried that the gunmetal grey would be too flashy on the black hood.

That's not my car. It was a picture of a blue boss that I changed the color of just the car.

Thoughts? The hood goes to the painter on Saturday.

Dropped the hood off at the painter last Friday. He said they were going to have to block a portion of it. We'll see how much effort it takes to get it looking good at the end.

I am quite happy with how it came out. Took a good amount of body work evidentially and about three weeks!! Still, I think it's worth it. Need to get the front splitter on though.
