Timing procedure needed for 4.6 2V...in a JAM!!

I know this doesn't go here, but I need as much exposure for this as I can get...

...only thing is the motor is a 94 Merc Grand Marquis 4.6. The timing procedure I have is NOT very good and after setting it up and attempting to rotate the crankshaft to verify...I get piston-to-valve contact. I need to see if anyone can get me the official timing procedure with diagrams to time this motor.

the timing chains should have black or darkened links it should be pretty self explanatory if you have installed the chains before

REMOVAL

CAUTION : At no time, when the timing chains are removed and the cylinder heads are installed, may the crankshaft and/or camshaft be rotated. Rotation may result in valve and/or piston damage.

If engine has jumped time, cylinder heads must be removed to repair damage to valves and/or pistons.

1. Remove all necessary components to access timing chains.

2. Remove crankshaft position sensor tooth wheel and rotate engine to No. 1 cylinder TDC.

3. To prevent accidental rotation of camshafts, install cam positioning tools T92P-6256-A or equivalents, to flats on camshafts as shown.
4. Remove two bolts retaining RH tensioner to cylinder head and remove tensioner.
5. Remove RH tensioner arm, then remove two bolts securing RH chain guide to cylinder head and remove chain guide.
6. Remove RH crankshaft gear.
7. Remove RH camshaft sprocket retaining bolt, washer, gear and spacer, if necessary.
8. Remove two bolts securing LH tensioner to cylinder head and remove tensioner.
9. Remove LH tensioner arm, then the bolts securing LH chain guide to cylinder head. Remove chain guide.
10. Remove LH chain from camshaft and crankshaft gears.
11. Remove LH crankshaft gear.
12. Remove LH camshaft sprocket retaining bolt, washer, gear and spacer, if necessary. CAUTION : Do not rotate crankshaft and/or camshaft while timing chains are removed.


INSTALLATION

NOTE : If engine has jumped time, ensure all repairs to engine components and/or valve train are completed. Then rotate engine counterclockwise 45°. This will position all pistons below top of deck face. Install cylinder heads and begin with step 5.

1. Position LH camshaft spacers and gears on camshaft, if removed.
2. Install washer and camshaft gear retaining bolt.
3. Position RH camshaft spacer and gear on camshaft, if removed.
4. Install washer and camshaft gear retaining bolt. NOTE : Cam positioning tools No. T92P-6256-A or equivalent, must be installed on camshaft(s) to prevent from rotating.

5. Install LH crankshaft gear. Ensure tapered portion of gear faces away from engine block.

Timing Chain Marks

6. If copper links of timing chain are not visible, split chain in half and mark two opposing links as shown.

7. Install LH timing chain on camshaft gear. Ensure copper link is aligned with timing mark of camshaft gear.
8. Install LH timing chain on crankshaft gear. Ensure copper link is aligned with timing mark on crankshaft gear.
9. Install RH crankshaft gear. Ensure tapered portion of gear faces toward engine block.
10. Install RH timing chain on camshaft gear. Ensure copper link is aligned with timing mark of camshaft gear.
11. Install RH timing chain on crankshaft gear. Ensure copper link is aligned with crankshaft gear.

12. Lubricate tensioner arm contact surfaces with engine oil and install RH and LH tensioner arms on dowels.
13. Install RH and LH timing chain tensioners. Do not remove lock pins until timing chain guides are installed.
14. Install chain guides.
15. Remove lock pins from timing chain tensioners and ensure all timing marks are aligned.
16. Remove cam positioning tools and install all components removed during removal procedure.

Got it all worked out...ended up doing it my own way and she's been runnin' like a champ ever since!
