(TOB)To Grease or not to grease?

That is my question... Need opinions on what's better to do. Do you guys grease the throw out bearing sleeve or not? My thought is that if you grease it, it will collect the clutch dust over time and become a sticky glue. If I leave it dry it may not slide as slick as a freshly greased TOB but it won't collect the dust either. Opinions anyone? :shrug:

I rubbed the inside of the TOB with graphite and did the same to the shaft. Then wiped off any excess. Slides very smoothly. I used to do this on heavy machine equipment since it doesn't attract dirt and stays clean almost forever.

shouldnt be a problem..i used Klubber grease on mine. its a super thick graphite grease (dark greay) that wont runn when hot..its also water proof...use pleanty
