    Tought my wife to drive stick on my Cobra. She did ok too. She now has no fear of it and can't wait to learn more. She wants a Cobra of her own too.

    Ive owned three cars, only one was an automatic and it was my first car. I will always own a manual car from now on.

    a fast auto car they are completely different animals than stick cars.

    My dad stuck me in a manual car at 15 and a half and said "Drive." Thats the only real way to learn in my opinion. I have never owned an automatic car.

    You cant spell Manual without MAN.

    Yes and much more completely boring. An acceleration rush is fun the first couple of times, but even driving an S2000, miata, hell a mini cooper S is more fun in the long run. Its more fun to drive a slow car fast than the other way around.
