Well the Bronco experiment did not work out and I am back in a Raptor and very happy. I am going to be towing my 2008 Roush next year and wonder what setup/mods I need to make it as easy as possible. I am going to tow open and likely an aluminum but have not decided the rest.

Thoughts/Experince?

Towing is not the best as they ride soft, but it's doable. I wouldn't want to go on extended trips with one.

I had no problems with our Gen 1 (rated for 9k lbs). Towed a 24' steel frame, enclosed trailer, around 10k miles with the truck (still have it, but a SD now handles most of the towing duties). As mentioned above the load bars are the reason it towed well (also have a sway control bar). Only bummer was I got 8-9 MPG when moving along.

I’d look at your door sticker for payload and such, get the weight of your car to figure out what trailer weight needs to look like

I’ve also seen raptor guys using some of the deavers stuff to help when towing

I towed my GT500 with my brothers 2019 stock Raptor, it towed it effortlessly and looked good doing it.
