Anybody been caught out in the rain with R888's? I try to avoid the rain at all cost, but it happens. I've heard NT05's are death traps in the rain - like pull over to the side and wait for it to stop if your caught out.

"I run the NT05's and love them. Provided I went from some shitty sumittomos to these, they are super sticky, and very compliant on back roads and cornering. Paired with Nitto NT555's up front. 295 out back, 275 up front." Running those 295 in the back did you need to chang out your IRS bolt? Also what is the width of your wheel? Im running 18" wheels right now so the IRS bolt shouldnt be a problem. I think im going to go with the Nitto NT05 295/35r18. Thanks to everyone that commented and help me out!

Drove my 700rwhp 2002 Red TTSaleen in the rain MANY times and never had an issue with the Toyo R888's in size 305-35-18.
They are awesome tires! Picture proof!!!!

R888s. Nice tire that's sticky and could still make it home if you get caught in the rain.

I drive mine a lot in the rain and used R888's in Auto-x and they were the best rain tire I have used.

If the car will hardly ever see rain get the ET's or Hoosiers. If its going to be used in rain then get the R888's
