You could r888s all the way around, it would make the car handle as if it was on rails.

If you want something more economical, I ran conti DSW 2 up front and r888s on the rear, it worked great for me.

I'm thinking maybe a Nitto nt555 G2 might do the trick and be able to get some decent mileage off the fronts. Or even MPSS or PS4.

Thoughts on the Toyo T1R up front with the R888 in the rear?

I noticed at the last airstrip attack that I went to, that almost everyone was running the r888. I hadn't even thought about that tire before that. But it was on EVERY car doing the attack

What is the overall height of the 315-30-20 R888? Any possible issues with rubbing on an '08?

315millimeters divided by 25.4 (25.4mm/in.) = 12.40" wide tire.

Multiply 12.40 by the aspect ratio which in this case is .30. Now you know the side wall of the tire.

Multiply that number by two (because there are two sidewalls per tire = 7.44" of TOTAL sidewall tire on the rim.

Simply add the diameter of the wheel, which is 20 in this case, and you have the overall diameter of the tire. 27.44"

315/30/20 = 27.44"

No no no. Terrible tire. Conti DW can be had for awesome prices right now as it's on closeout. I would grab those honestly, for the prices they're going at now nothing else can compare price vs performance.
