hey guys, somehow my dads Mach 1 got tree sap on the drivers side door, and i have no clue how to get it off, clay bar didnt do squat, nor did a little bit of rubbing compound, or some laquer thinner (dont worry, im not stupid, i tried that as a last ditch effort in an attempt to get it off, car needs a repaint anyways) Does anybody know any good ways to get tree sap off of a car?

If it hasnt sat for a long time, you could get lucky and get it all out.

What I always did was dull a razor blade by rubbing it up and down on window glass for a while, then very carefully peel away the chucks of sap. Then use a weak solvent to wipe away whats left. Finally buff it. If you attack it soon enough it should be all gone, if not youll just have a small discoloration.
