BOTH HAVE BEEN SOLD. thank you
These are the last two of the regular aluminum hood vents i was able to find.
These were both sent to a painter i worked with for custom work. He would do “body work” to smooth out the creases in the metal caused by the metal bending process. He would then spray them with a matte black. Being paint, they were finicky to shoot and often had to be redone since you cant buff out flaws with matte black or it becomes semi-gloss black. After doing these a few times he said no more. Too much of a pita to deal with for the $100 he was charging for the work. Painters time = $$
They are both very smooth. These normally sold for $100 upcharge over the standard $500 version. They both bolt into place.
The first one has a minor flaw in the paint. you cannot feel it, but it is visible in the right light at the right angle. Other than that it is as perfect as these came. I believe the polished mesh was clear coated. It can be left as is or sanded and re-painted. You could also buff it and make it semi-gloss black.
$400 shipped
The second one is basically the same except there are no flaws in the matte black paint. The clear coat did not adhere to the polished mesh as well. It is always tough shooting any kind of clear on polished aluminum.
$450 shipped
