I am just waiting my turn until mine takes the bait. After buying this car and having to put a new clutch in it, I know I am riding on borrowed time.
bought a magnum xl from JPC today .... can't go into this not nowing if the trans will hold ... so have to go for the sure thing
You’re going to love the Tremec but go 4.10’s. It’s a perfect match. By the way that plate is KILLER!

Really? Is this because of a previous owner or is the MT82 really that fragile?
Previous owner beat the snot out of this car. I did not know the person or who the previous owner was but I’ve been able to bring this car back around. I got such a deal on it along with many mods already done, it just needed someone to do the right things to make it all come together.
I bought the 2.66 first gear ratio one and I already have the 4.10s waiting to go in the back .... did all the math on every gear and rpm shiftpoint and this was the best combo for my needs . Trans gets here tomorrow and then I gotta get that sucker swapped and re spline my rxt .
Out of the ashes from a broken tranny arises a phoenix. You're definitely going to love the Magnum XL. What do you believe the actual torque rating is on the MT-82? It certainly isn't 380?

trans ready , mgw shifter good to go , gears and miscellaneous all here .... should have it done in a couple of weeks . Cant wait ....shifted a little and feels so solid no slop at all
