When I was working on my truck I noticed that the vacuum line for the boost gauge is bad. I believe it is part #XL3Z-3A788-AB. I contact Ford parts and was told this part is no longer available. So I guess my question is can I go to a hardware store and buy new tubing? Any Lightning website sell just the vacuum line? I would rather do this as cheaply as possible due to my current financial situation. TIA

Any kind of stiff tubing of the proper size should do for this. Auto parts store frequently carry a variety of small plastic tubing and fittings of that size.

Is the whole tube bad or just one spot?

When drilling a whole to run my amp wiring I went threw the boost for the boost gauge tube and punctured it so I went to Advanced Auto and bought some rubber tube and cut the plastic tube at the point of the hole and pushed both ends of it in the to rubber hose. If you need to you can zip ty it tight.
