Hard to tell from the pics....What did you use!?

I like the idea, had a similar thought about what I wanted to do with mine!
I was thinking that maybe if you cut up a large Funnel and stick it behind where the foglight would have been you will force air into the airbox more!?

i just put on a GT/CS valance on and wanted to do away with the fogs but i didnt have anything like mesh so i just wrapped mine with carbon fiber vinyl. il post some pics tomorrow. i like the idea of the cage look its got the feel of a old trans am racer.

Looks good. I hate my fogs and would love to get a saleen or roush grill but don't have the cash. Might have to give this a try.

Is there a way to test if your intake in fact is getting more and colder air with this mod?
or is it more for looks?

I think it looks great. Like a boss. Been using it for years on my track cars. I really keeps the track rubber "marbles" and crap out of my radiator and brakes.
