My window sticker says that my car has vented discs. It also says this in the shelby suppliment. Was this a typo, or is there another type of vented disc that does not have visible vents?? Here is a pic of my window sticker and the shelby suppliment that says it....?

I think every car manufactured today has vented front disc brakes. It is pretty much par for the course and nothing special. You can't see the vents by looking at the face of the disc. The "vents" are between the two sides of the disc.

Vented disc simply means there is an air gap on the rotor in-between the two braking surfaces. Very typical of 99% of all front brakes on all production vehicles.

BTW, the rears are vented as well!
