Getting together to race sounds like a great idea. Dinwiddie does rent the track out if a large group of us would like to do that. I can call and find out price.
That would be a good idea... i wonder how many people would be interested though?
I will call and find out how to and how much it costs to rent the track.
The charges are $165 hr for the first 4 cars then $120hr for each additional car + $75 hr for the ambulance and there is a minimum of 4 hours. I e-mailed and asked if there was another way of doing it for less money (through car club or whatever). I will let you know what they say. I know that I could atleast get 7-12 friends to go.

Even if it's too expensive to rent the track we can all get together and race at VMP. The track opens in March and I know I am going. Also, if any of you road race at VIR I am going there in early spring with several friends.
where is VIR.

if it is then count me in for a trip. do i need a cage for my vert to run or just a helmet?

I just e-mailed the guys at Maryland International Raceway about renting the track for a get to get together at a lower price.
