My work has recently changed everyone over to Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client (VPN). So now I'm pretty much screwed from watching any movies or playing music from web based players. Is there a way I can get around this? Would going through a proxy server get around the VPN from blocking the site?

When I try going to youtube, I get this error below.

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Thanks for any advice.

Get a cheap linux tablet and teather off your phone. Those security protocols exist to keep you from ****ing their data and costing them money, don't go around them.

Yeah it's a firewall rule at some level. You won't get past it unless you connect to a third party VPN, which I absolutely do not recommend on a work machine. Stick to your phone.

Do you get the same error when not connected to the VPN?
