If you have a mod that you know exact weight saving please list here.

I will put my car on a scale tomorrow to show weight before i start trimming down on weight.

Curious as to what others have already done.

I weighed my car at the track, 3900 lbs with 3/4 tank. Base model with shaker pro.

I plan to drop at least 100 and then for race days just remove the seats and shaker pro.

Radiator support could save 10+lbs
K member 20+
A Arms a few pounds each
Battery
Wheels
Rotors
etc

There are definitely ways to save weight, but all depends on the type of racing and whether you want to maintain good driving manners

The mufflers weigh a ton compared to the baffled pipes some sell. I do not recall reading about any damper weights like they used to put on the older GT axles. They were about 5 pounds each. Some were on the center of the axle and some got mounted on the outboard ends. Owners manual and floor mats all add up. good luck, Post all those surprises.

Aren't most K-member + A-arm conversions saving 60-70 lbs?

Rear seat delete
Move the battery to the trunk (No savings but improves weight distribution)
Remove AC (and rear sub, and radio... you see where this is going lol)
Dont get glass roof (Although it's apparently only 20 lbs heavier and supposedly stiffer)
