It seems as though people with hellcats are Just crazy or something is in the water pool. Anyone from Texas in here? I just got off the phone with a dealer in Texas who stated they’re not doing any out of state registrations currently, it’s Texas regulations. Any truth to this, or is this another one who got bit by methsquitto’s..

I paid $49,999 for my Hellcat challenger, 6 speed, with 348 miles on it in 2018. Too bad I'm into the car for double lol. Charger prices were always higher than Challenger though. You'll find the right car.

Methsquittos

Bugging cuz hellcat ends in 23 so they’re thinking they’re a goldmine, not a mass produced car….

As stated you’ll find one.

I’m back in the performance industry now so i can put my feelers out for you, what specs are you after? Feel free to PM if interested, glad to help!

Well.. let’s try this again. Found a 2016 hellcat charger. Triple black again, sunroof, 15k miles. $61,400 shipped to my front door, I’ll obviously have to pay taxes when it arrives. Dealer is closed until Monday. I’ll determine whether this is the one or not. Fingers crossed boys.

Crazy to think but I believe my buyout on my 2016 with 35k on it in back in Feb 2020 was very low $40s.
Could have ordered a new one with the “power dollars” rebates and employee pricing for less than or close to that $61k!
Thanks Covid!

It truly is crazy for sure.. it’s baffling to think of the car prices right now. I’ve told her now isn’t the time to buy a car, especially a sports car. However with the rumors of hellcats going bye bye I thought it might be a good idea, even with gas being $5.20 a gallon lol. From what I’ve seen people posting their cobras for on here, I stay quiet. I thought I was charging a bit for $35k for my 03 OW coupe with 19k miles. Guess I’ll just have to post it for $55k like some haha, only kidding!

I understand everyone’s situation is different but as far as I know, several Dodge dealers will let you order a NEW Hellcat for invoice if your willing to wait.
I agree it’s not an ideal time to buy a vehicle, but I think the exception is buying a new Hellcat (or highly in demand ride like GT500 that is ending production).
If you can order one for under MSRP, you get exactly what she/you want, it’s NEW, the resale will be excellent. Plus usually better finance options on new and it gives you time to sell the cobra/save cash.
And yes I understand the elephant in the room (getting her to patiently wait on an ordered Hellcat).
Unless you find a great deal on the exact car she wants, then go for it!
Good luck man.

Well luckily the one we found is exactly how she would have placed her order from dodge. Unsure if you saw my post a little earlier in this thread. The dodge dealers we have around us are pushing against hellcats, They’re giving long speeches about how they can’t get them, etc. they’re trying to throw you on a widebody scatpack for $58k and keep it going. I’ve called 4 dealers that are within 100 miles. All gave me the same runaround. Unsure what’s going on with car buying in the world. It’s very disappointing to see. I’ve purchased many cars, and generally held a good standing with most of my people. However this would be the first dodge, and I’ve never dealt with a dodge dealer. Most of my contacts can’t really get me a good deal on a hellcat because what they get them for is nearly what I can get them for. You’re correct about the waiting part. We had discussed a bit ago about purchasing her a hellcat when she graduated college. Which she did, I’m very proud of her for achieving that at a young age. (23). She’s also in corporate now for pharmacy for Walgreens. She’s a workaholic as myself. Her birthday is coming up in July. The goal was to have one before hand, or the day of her birthday. I’ve been actively looking, and trying to pull the trigger for about 3 months now. As for the cobra’s, I was only teasing. None of those bad boys are going anywhere. Took me to long to find good ones, the price it would take to replicate that in todays market would be worse than this hellcat game I’m playing. Once she gets her hellcat, I’m back on the hunt for my cursed Sonic Blue that doesn’t seem to exist for me haha. Crazy to think my OW has significantly less produced, yet are more common to see around, and or for sale. Granted Sonic was only produced one year. Gah, getting off topic. Anywho boys, I’ll keep you all updated AGAIN. With this one. Thanks for all of the kind words. Also HUGE shout out to Todd @TK1299 for loaning me the pulley puller to compete her 03 coupe with a 2.7 pulley! She’s going to be excited to see. Have a blessed days boys.

You should have reached out to Mark Dodge in Louisiana. They do 10% off MSRP for their HD trucks if you order. They’re high volume so I’m sure they could get a hellcat allocation as well.

I appreciate it. I believe I did ask if anyone knew of any place that would. However it’s all good, if this goes into place we will be happy.
