also a way i think about it is, it all depends on what platform you start out with and what mods are done. My car went 13.93 @ 101.7 with just catbacks on a 2.09 60ft. Thats not bad IMO for just a catback mustang GT w/ 5spd.
Many cars nowadays seem to be cracking the 100mph mark in the 1/4 off the showroom floor so I would say anything above 115 would be moving along at a good clip with anything above that earning you some kudos.
I think for a street car anything 120-130+ is fast especially if you can drive it daily as a normal car. That’s where my car is at and I think it’s more than enough; I was thinking about spraying it but figured there was no need. I'm not a street racer or I do it RARELY so that type of power can't/shouldn't be used on the street. My buddy had a KB Cobra that was trapping 135 and after going for a ride in that I decided I didn't want that much power for a street car.
130-140mph ET would be a badass street car, a easy 10 sec street car.
Full interior, AC, street tires, full exhaust, etc.
I got my Whipple combo to trap 129mph with full interior, stock motor and stock front rims/tires with MT 17" ET Streets out back.
I always wanted a 10 sec street car, thought it is badass.
