I think the LFP vents would look better than the stock vents. Different style, of course. You'd always the option later to swap to the stock vents.
sounds like its all coming together. which clutch did you go with?Got my hoses, and my new thermostat. Just need to pick up my new tanks from @CobraVenom01 and then I can burp the system. Get miles on the new clutch and such. Then it’s whipple and springs time
I went with a McLeod Super Street 700HP clutch. I wasn’t to sure how my leg would be able to handle pushing in and out if I went with a heavy clutch for racing. I’m used to the hydraulic clutch on my GT500. So far this clutch has been great. Only got about 130 miles on it now since I drove it for a while. Trying not to do to much. My lower was rubbing against the lower crank. So it’s got a 1/4 gash on it.sounds like its all coming together. which clutch did you go with?
I drove my buddies GT500 with the hydraulic clutch and stalled first time lol. Pedal is butter. I got the spec 3 plus in my car. No chatter, works really well. Its just the stock T56 is getting to me now. I might do a magnum later down the line. My other buddy got one and he said it was mint. I haven't driven his car yet. It’s really like butter man. So enjoyable and easy to drive. I drove it for about 7 hours or so total yesterday. I was thinking, if I do the magnum down the road, I was going to pair it up with the centerforce DYAD kit. I think it comes with a light billet steel flywheel as well. Have you heard or have experience with the DYAD ?
Bro thank you so much that would be greatly appreciated. I saw it being mentioned a few times on here but never in detail. It’s really like butter man. So enjoyable and easy to drive. I drove it for about 7 hours or so total yesterday. Leg didn’t hurt at all.
I’ve personally never heard of them before. I’d have to ask around and see if anyone else has. Sorry brother.
I changed mine over to AN. Had a -20 welded onto the crossover and the thermostat housing. No more rubber hoses. Are there any options for the coolant hose that from the crossover down to the T-stat housing? I know it’s discontinued but has anyone been able to find a workable hose? Or is my only option the crossover delete?
Hmmmmm…interesting…I changed mine over to AN. Had a -20 welded onto the crossover and the thermostat housing. No more rubber hoses.
well boys, I finally got in contact with nick at American racing about my headers that I ordered 8 months ago. They SHOULD be shipping out late next week into the following week. At least we can dyno tune the car in decent weather. Not like last time when it was like 100 degrees outside.
Got some pics or a thread to point us at for info???I changed mine over to AN. Had a -20 welded onto the crossover and the thermostat housing. No more rubber hoses.
If I were to do it again, I’d cut the side for the radiator back further on the crossover so it’s not so tight getting the line on there. It’s tight but works.Got some pics or a thread to point us at for info???

Interesting. Thanks for the info brother. I appreciate that. I might go with that one instead of the RXT.There’s a user on here that swears by the DYAD. Can’t recall his username.
He likes it over the RXT because it comes as an assy that you just bolt in and it’s shorter so no pivot ball changes.
