What do I need after installing cat deletes?

I was told that I needed a new tune to run cat deletes but I was told by both VMP and bama yesterday that they won't be able to tamper with the rear O2 sensors or the CEL due to federal regulations. Is there any way to go around this or should I just stay catted at this point? I was planning on switching over to cat deletes/gt500 mufflers for a little power gain. ‍♂️

What car? If it is 04 or earlier a set of MIL deletes will work perfectly. If it is a later car the plug needs to be modified and adjusted, but will give the resistance needed to trick the ECM into thinking the rear cats are on the car.

The gains from to ditching the cats really aren't worth it in my opinion. Not with emission testing getting harder and harder.

I'm just going to swap the cats back in when it's time for testing. I was planning to go long tubes but that isn't a simple install lol.
