See that's what I'm afraid of. Its definately not gonna be on slicks, ill be running 315 drs (18s) and I don't know if that'll be enough tire for 4.56s...oh well, I'm probably just going to go for the 4.30s, I'm sure ill be happy with them.PACIFICGREENSVT said:the guy that i go to for my gears says-and he has about 30 years exp-
that 456's in a street car will just spin the tires all day long unless you run slicks or a verry soft tire . but its your car you make the call .

Boost is a whole other ball game. If it's just a simple Vortech bolt on kit, some people like the 4.10s. But some people say it's too much and prefer 3.73s. Then you've got turbo guys begging for stock 3.27s if not 3.08s or heaven forbid 2.73s. Bascially more boost = less gear. So yeah, you're right and that whole paragraph was for nothing other than my own amusement.LS1 Eddie said:If I'm not mistaken the 96-98 Cobras perform better with 4:10's if your gonna supercharge them.
Did you make that up?:nono:Midnight_Cobra said:9.45's
