Because it's relative. Both people experience the same 24 hours, just differently.

Astronauts in the ISS go through time faster than we do on earth due to gravity. GPS satellites proved that quite long time ago, they have correction factors built in for the difference that gravity on earth creates.

Good question. My question to that is, in relation to what? What do we compare it to?

Move on, nothing to see here.

Time dilation. The faster you go, the slower you experience time, compared to a stationary observer. Driving your car fast, ages you less!

This has been proven with orbiting atomic clocks. If you could go the speed of light, time would stop. ISS astronauts, will be 0.01s younger than us, when they return, for every year spent orbiting. Converts to 0.0008s younger per month.

People tell me I'm smart. Honest, I just don't see it. Seriously. I'm barely average, on a good day. After a good night's sleep, without an overly-filling breakfast. And I may be giving myself too much credit, aiming for "average."
I concede the point. Well done, sir. Very well done.

Almost anyone can read/learn/understand theoretical physics if they have the interest. The true smart people are the one's who come up math and engineer the instruments

Two sides of the same coin. Somebody has to figure out something can be done. Then somebody has to figure out how to use it. Then another somebody has to figure out how to make a buck on it.

Take super sonic passenger flight: they figured out the sound barrier can be broken, then somebody built the plane to carry paying passengers who loved the short travel time. But nobody ever figured out how to really make a buck off it, and they scrapped it at the first chance they got.

Time slows down for the people observing you as you edge close to light speed, not for you. You will still experience time passage as normal. This is time dilation, and is due to relativity.
