curious ???

main reason I don't consider going TS is because it seems anything over 600 to the wheels will need race fuel which I don't want to mess with and a goal of 600 is not worth doing a KB or whipple to me.

I think 3.4 guys can do 650+ on pump gas. I know of a guy local that did 680rwhp with a 3.4 on pump with a "splash" of torco.

wonder what a 3.4 can do on e85 ?

is the 3.4 much more than the 2.3

and are the larger KB's much more expensive than the smaller versions ?

You can do fairly high on pump like 650 + without E85, even more RWHP if you consider E85 pump gas.

Aggressive tunes with high psi and high Timing on shitty pump gas isn't a great idea though. It really just depends on how risky you want to be.

E85 is sold at standard gas stations?

I know not around here, but just wondering in other areas.

We have E85 at 90% of our stations around here. I am over 700rwhp on 93 octane through 4.10 gears and just over 6000rpms. 16 degrees timing.

616 with a "safe tune" for 93, according to the previous owner. out of a KB 2.8. I'll be getting it checked when I get home in Feb.

I would say around 600 rwhp on 93 octane and about 21-22* timing. My car made 643rwhp but I needed some torco to get 11.5 a/f ratio with 22* timing and the 3" pulley on a Whipple 2.3 Gen II (21psi). I haven't dynoed the 3.2" pulley (18psi) yet for my daily driver 93 octane tune .. I will be heading up to MD to have Hermann tune the car soon because I have the FGT pump setup now and only have a temp tune.

i am at 668 on a KB 2.2L at 19#'s tuned by caleb skinner of Fastlane Motorsports on 93 pump, i made 616 on a 91 pump tune prior to caleb tuning the car after i purchased it. I'm still 281ci with stock internals..just a lil massage work in other areas..

i know of a local that is doing 680rwhp with a 3.4 Whip but it also has PnP heads and cams to help, stock bottom end, with a very safe tune (like 11.3-11.5:1) and relatively low timing. last i heard from him, he was planning on going with meth injection.

Does it have to be on a stock motor?

You go with a well built 302/324 bottomend, ported head, custom ground cams, LT's, etc, and you can see over 700 WHP on 93 octane, and thats with the smaller blowers running their regular inlets.

That car was redynoed elsewhere and made a mess load less power. I think around 60 less. But still a nice car.
